Who We Are

WestPACS Mission

The Western Pennsylvania Career Services Association (WestPACS) is an independent, non-profit consortium of career development professionals representing the member community colleges, colleges, and universities of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.  The expressed purpose of the consortium is to sponsor annual collegiate job fairs for the students and alumni of member institutions and other student-oriented programs.  It is hoped that the WestPACS Association will also enhance and encourage professional development among its members.

WestPACS sponsors 2 premier Collegiate Job & Internship Fairs for college students and graduates.

Frequently, students attend the fair to find out more about the types of entry-level jobs available for their majors such as engineering, business, marketing, computer technology, information science, criminal justice, human services and health care. Others are actively seeking internships in marketing, sales, administrative, human resources, communication, engineering, information technology, management or finance. Still, others attend the job fair as recent alumni or students about to graduate that are looking to begin or advance their current careers in regional Pittsburgh companies and other nationally recognized employers.

WestPACS also offers many chances for job seekers to interact face-to-face with recruiters from industries such as banking, manufacturing, retail, high tech and many government agencies.

For additional information about who traditionally attends our job & internship fairs, check out our job fair statistics snapshot.
